Programs that allow inmates to earn college degrees are flourishing in Massachusetts
Orijin™ is proud to partner with the Massachusetts Department of Correction in empowering justice-impacted individuals to reshape their future through education. One inspiring story is Christopher Gannon, who earned admission to Boston College while incarcerated. Now a BC sophomore, Gannon is on track for a STEM career after completing a psychology and neuroscience program at Yale this summer.
“When I got that acceptance letter, I didn’t realize how much my life had changed, but I knew the opportunity was there,” Gannon said.
Through Orijin’s Managed Learning Platform, delivered on secure tablets, incarcerated individuals like Christopher gain access to life-changing educational opportunities.
